Welcome to my portfolio site, featuring animation and illustration artwork mainly for the childrens book / advertising market. My name is Martin Davey, and I have worked commercially for over 15 years in animation and illustration. I am a UK artist, based in London. I am available for commissioned artwork for childrens illustration, book covers and animation projects. I try to make my illustration artwork as appealing as possible to a wide audience. The images are drawn directly in to the computer using a 'tablet'. Painter and Photoshop are used in the creation of this work.The animation has been mainly realised in Lightwave 3D, plus flash and aftereffects. I trained in animation while it was still hand drawn and converted these skills in to the computer world. The artwork can be professionally printed out on to paper or canvas.
